AMP6500 Unattended
Status: PCI 5.x – Sunset April 30, 2027
End of Sale: July 30, 2026
Sunset: April 30, 2027
End of support: April 30, 2029
Impact: No new installs or merchant boardings after sunset. Existing units continue to operate.
Upgrade to: AMP6600, AMP6400
AMP8200 (Android 5 & 7)
Status: PCI 5.x – Sunset April 30, 2027
End of Sale: July 30, 2026
Sunset: April 30, 2027
End of support: April 30, 2029
Impact: No new installs or merchant boardings after sunset. Existing units continue to operate.
Upgrade to: AMP8500 or AMP8300
What does PCI 5.x Sunset mean for your deployment?
Existing installs keep working — Devices already deployed and actively processing will continue to function after April 30, 2027. No action is required to maintain current operations.
No new deployments after sunset — After the PCI 5.x expiry, these devices cannot be installed at new locations. New MIDs and merchant accounts cannot be boarded onto PCI 5.x hardware.
Plan your migration now — Lead times for device procurement, certification, and deployment can be significant. We recommend beginning your transition to replacement devices as early as possible.
Discontinued Products – January 2025
The following legacy products were fully discontinued effective January 22, 2025. Maintenance and repair services remain available through April 30, 2026, after which all support will end.
